Traveling adventures

"We are going to live in a new house for the weekend?!!" Rhyann was so excited with this thought. Her first overnight vacation without her parents. Even though she really really missed her family, she was a trooper and had a great time. I am so glad she was with us, she gave linc someone to play with, and she is super fun, so we all had a good time..

I love the memories from this trip.

They both would not leave the phone alone. It's like they have never seen one before. Oh wait they never have.... :) We ended up unplugging it so they could have a lot of fun with it.

Sweet girl...

Setting up their armies...

I think they like each other a little bit...

First sleep over. At one point in the night Rhyann migrated and was laying on Lincoln's  pillow, so he decided to steal mine. You know... Toddler logic...

Enjoying the hotel breakfast.

We searched the whole city of Kerville for a park. When we finally found one, it was set in the middle of the "dodgy end" of the city. In all of the million dollar neighborhoods in the area there was not one park for these kiddos to play in...

This was taken close to the end of the weekend and they were still enjoying each others company. True best friends.

Ring Sheriff

Just recently Lincoln and Rhyann were both asked to be in a wedding. Flower girl and Ring Sheriff, I must say they both did a fantastic job. I had this vision that the both of them would refuse to walk down the aisle, and they almost didn't, but with the small bribe of rocks and gold fish they got the job done.

The Groom (Randy) is a family friend and we totally could not pass it up. I used to babysit Randy when he was just a small child, so watching him get married was a surreal experience. An "I feel really old" surreal experience...... The wedding took place in a boy scout camp that i'm sure linc still dreams about to this day. It had water, trees, and rocks... lots and lots of rocks... the hill countries finest. It really was a beautiful setting, and fit the bride and groom to a tee. I blessed we got to witness it, and be a small part of their special day.

Linc was only interested in his gold fish.

Rhyann showing off her dress, and linc throwing rocks. This is pretty much what they both did the whole day.

look at all those rocks.....

Wedding.... what wedding???
throwing rock during the ceremony. Like I said they were totally not interested...

The after picture.... a nap was totally called for. We were all exhausted.
