Sweet New Toy

Lincoln acquired a new toy and it is AWESOME! Jarrod's parents ( Grandma and Grumpy) got linc a bubble mower for Easter. Then let him open it early. Jarrod had one when he was little and my sweet mother in law started crying watching lincoln enjoy his new toy, just like his daddy did before. 

He played with it all day only pausing only to throw a few rocks in the pond and play in the sand box with scooter (Grumpy's cat). 

He's got a lot of grass to mow.

The whole crew came to watch lincoln throw some rocks.

STICKERS

Lincoln found the sticker stash I have for him. The original purpose was to put on his potty chart every time he went to the bathroom, and well that's kinda at a stand still. Potty training is hard, and stickers are fun. So he thought it would be amazing to cover himself in the sticky goodness of robot stickers. He was not as thrilled to get them removed... :) 

Here he is screaming STICKERS. 

This fun memory went into the memory jar.

Like 5 Minutes.....

"Under water" is how my sweet love Jarrod would end that sentence. When describing our marriage it is always "like 5 min under water". He heard one of his uncles describe his marriage that way and well it kinda stuck and is now a little running joke between us. To be honest it really does feel like just 5 min and not all of it "under water" :) 

 Today is our 8 year anniversary. I can't imagine a better partner to tackle this crazy life with. He really is my best friend! I can't wait to see what the future holds for us as a couple, and for us as parents. 

This picture is from our first date. Yes I made my mom take our picture. I am so glad I did because this was the start of something GREAT. 

This is a picture from our wedding, just a few years later... 6 to be exact.

Hands down one of the best days of my life. 

This is us now, and could not be happier!! 

I pray we teach our Lincoln how important a partner is, and that it's the type of love you wait for. Then once you have it, you never let it go.
