My sweet little, stick chewing, opa saying, soccer ball kicking, lover of blueberries, breastmilk junkie is one. Elliot has been such a joy to watch grow. Him and his brother are the lights of my life. I'm so honored to be their mother.
I have the rare opportunity to watch my littles grow everyday. This stay at home gig is not by any means easy, it is by far the single hardest thing I've ever done, but so worth it. I know I will never regret this time that I have with my boys. I just hope they cherish the moments we have together as much as I have.
All right enough about me, the birthday boy was sick for the first time just in time for his party. I'm talking like 105 fever kind of sick. We pulled out all the tricks and was able to get him cooled off, but i've never felt a baby that hot before. Thank goodness it was just an ear infection and not anything more serious. He was so uncomfortable and I was so scared and really hard on myself about everything. A big thank you for antibiotics, once they kicked in he was happy Elliot again. I've never had to go through something like that. Lincoln had his fair share of things but never a fever that high. I was totally freaking out and mommy guilting myself. In the end he is fine, all smiles and completely in love with the medicine. We have not had to hide anything in chocolate milk. :)
I am so blessed to call this little mine. Enjoy the pictures.
My dear Elli,
Thank you for being mine. Your light shines and feels this house with joy.
I will love you forever,
mama
He has stolen all of our hearts, just like his brother before him, yet in a very different way. You and Jarrod have produced two of the most wonderful and beautiful children and I feel so blessed to be allowed to be a part of their lives.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness! I'm so glad Elliot is feeling better!! Awesome pictures and beautifully worded blog-as always. Kristen, you are an inspiration. I want to be more like you as a mommy. 💕💕
