No Halloween

Unfortunately The Theriots will not have a Halloween this year. Jarrod and I both have to work, and Lincoln gets to go to a football game with Oma and Opa. Which I know he will LOVE. I just hate that we are going to miss it. We did not even get Linc an outfit.
Even though we have had only a few Halloweens together it feels strange not participating. I love this time of year. Pumpkin everything and answering the door to the super cute neighbors in their costumes, totally makes my evening. Oh well there is always next year.
So instead of pictures of Linc in his costume, here are just a few sweet pictures of Linc :)
Please Enjoy the many faces of Lincoln

Tuesday Night Lights

Oh the joys of middle school football. I am not going to lie to you I am really not a fan, but when my nephew is playing it might as well be the Super Bowl. This game was particularly amazing! Not only did they win, but Blayne actually got his hands on the ball with an interception. We just went absolutely crazy in the stands and when he made it back to the sidelines after his chest bump with the coach, he had the most amazing smile on his face. It kinda made me tear up a little. He was proud of himself and he knew that we were unbelievably proud of him. I am so glad I was able to witness it.
Here are a few little Gems from that evening. Also my daddy got a new camera so I totally had to take it over ;)

Blayne's #1 Fan

Blayne is # 7

I loved seeing Blayne giving his teammate a pat on the back after a good play.

Blayne and his best fried Chase.

The big moment!!!!

My dad got these shots. I'm so glad we were able to get it on film.

APPLES

On the way home from picking Lincoln up from mother's day out, we made an impromptu stop at the pumpkin patch. Every year the small church across the street from the entrance to our part of the neighborhood sets up a pumpkin patch. As we pulled into the parking lot Lincoln screams "APPLES". Well sort of sweet boy I thought... if apples are orange and grow on a vine. ;) It took him a few minutes to warm up but once he did he had a blast. Trying to pick up the really big pumpkins, kicking, throwing and chewing on the hay. I love this time of the year.

yeah that hay does not taste good.

Frankie did not go with us to the pumpkin patch. I just wanted to show off our sweet old girl.
