Picture View Canyon

A beautiful day spent with wonderful friends trekking through Picture View Canyon.

Linc does not look so impressed.

Oh the beauty of Jesus

Last summer 18 very adventurous Quakers took a life changing mission trip to Springfield Colorado, with a few stops in between. It takes a lot of convincing to persuide a large group of people to get on the same page about anything let alone drive cross county. God works in mysterious and sometimes crazy ways and when he wants something, he makes it HAPPEN. Now that it has been a full year and we just finished up our reverse mission trip ( the youth from colorado came to us and worked on our church), I thought it was time to share our adventure.

We all worked VERY hard in preparation for this trip. From putting $2 a week into the mission fund, to serving nachos and beer to the Houston Rodeo goers. All of our hard work payed off and we were able to share in fellowship and our love of music with our fellow Friends. One half of our party worked on the church (painting) and the other half put on a bell camp, but we were all touched by the spirt and moved by the whole experience.

we all felt this way, one time or another durning the trip.

There is a beautiful park across the street from the church. We visited often, you know to play and sleep.. By the way that is my dad. I did not let linc play in the park next to a sleeping homeless man. haha

Love and Light

See the light in others and treat them as if that is all you see.

A few weekends ago I had the awesome opportunity to take a few photos of one of my very best friends and his love. Robert and Tim, are full of light and love for each other and the people that surround them. I am proud to call them friends.
