Lincoln age 3

This past weekend, our little boy turned 3. I can't quite believe it. He is the sweetest little soul ever, even if he says "shit" every once in a while. He loves to play games, and he actually wants us to play them with him. How can you resist when that little boy voice asks you to play with him (it comes out "play wiz meeee"). I try to say yes as much as possible. I want him to remember his parents playing with him and genuinely liking his company.  He likes tv, and I'm happy to say they are still the little kid cartoons. All the others, in his words are scary.  Tools Tools Tools..... we have tools everywhere and right now that's what his life if all about. Oh and I can't forget about golf with daddy. He asks about it all day and mommy just can't help him with any of it. So it is all up to his dear sweet daddy, and he really does a great job. They are actually outside right now as i'm writing this, playing golf.

I am so proud to be this boys mother. I can't imagine my life without him, even with his weird corkiness about his socks. (long story for another post) I pray for him every minute of everyday that he becomes a kind, accountable, loving man someday. At this rate he is well on his way to achieving that goal, but right now he is still a kid and he is loving it.

I am so thankful to all who came out on this very hot august day.
We sweat, played, and had a lot of fun. I can't think of a more better day to celebrate. Linc had a blast seeing all his friends. He even got a super spiderman jump house, in which he played from 9:30 am to 9:30 pm. Let's just say he slept well that night. We all did....

Love this group.

Linc and his uncle steve playing in the jump house. You know after this Uncle Steve is totally his favorite.

Yes this is my child peeing in the back yard. Luckily the party was almost over and not many people were in the back there at the time. I guess we need to have a discussion on when and where we pee..

 Happy Birthday!!!

Holman wedding

Being a family means you are apart of something very special. It means you will love and be loved for the rest of your life. No matter what.

Niece and Brandon,
Thank you so much for giving me the chance to be part of your story.
All my love, Kristin

Lil' tex, Big bro

There are very few things I hate about camping. I'm not going to list them all, but one is walking through the grass with fresh morning dew in the wee hours before anyone is awake, only to get wet sand and gravel all over your clean feet then attempting to crawl back in bed. never fun.... Now, on the other hand there are thousand things I love about camping. For starters walking back from the bathroom with wet, sandy, gritty feet looking up and seeing this view. It's pretty breathtaking!! I could go on forever about the fun we had, the love that was shared, and the memories that were made. You kinda really have to be there to fully understand what it's like. For all of my days I will cherish these adored moments, and know that I am sharing something really special with my children. With hopes the tradition will live on in them.

This year was extra special, We got to reveal that WE ARE HAVING ANOTHER BABY!!! yes you read right. A sweet little baby Theriot is waiting to make there joyous debut. So say a little prayer for me and this new addition for next year. Camping with a little one is not easy, but I can't wait to give it a go.

Linc got to spend much needed time with his cousins, and they played and played.
They got to throw rocks.... As you can see, they had a few to choose from..

They fished...

Fished some more....

Still more fishing...

Yup... as you can see a lot of fishing was going down. Blayne and his tiny hoard of littles barely left the shore. Linc even caught 2 fish. "mostly on his own." He was not really impressed... look  at that face.

My sweet nephew loved every minute of it!!

Linc and his girls.. they are going to give him a run for his money.

Blayne did take a break from fishing only to play games.

Next year will be very different with a new camper. I can't wait to see these pictures and precious memories grow.
